Films on the art of Lynd Ward and the WPA Come to South Bend

Date

It’s been a while since we toured with our 2012 documentary O Brother Man: The Art and Life of Lynd Ward.”  Ward is the father of the American graphic novel and one of the most prolific book illustrators and printmakers in the history of American art.

On Saturday, October 24 this film will screen at the South Bend Museum of Art.   The next day, our new film Enough to Live On: The Arts of the WPA” will also screen at the museum.  We’ll be there to introduce both films and take questions following the screenings.

These films are being shown in conjunction with the special exhibit WPA Prints: The Amity Arts Foundation Collection.
