The Colby College Museum of Art presents the Maine-made documentary “Visible Silence: Marsden Hartley, Painter and Poet,” which illuminates the life and work of American master Marsden Hartley.

“Visible Silence: Marsden Hartley, Painter and Poet” is the first documentary ever made about this world-renowned painter. It was written, directed, and narrated by Michael Maglaras of 217 Films.

Maglaras will be on hand to introduce the film and answer questions following the screening.
